Richmond woman charged in murder-for-hire

A Richmond woman who worked with an advocacy group for parents in child-custody battles faces two charges of attempted capital murder, accused of arranging a double-killing related to a custody battle of her own.

Virginia State Police arrested Caren Taylor Pressley Brown, who was associated with Children Without a Voice, on Friday in James City County and charged that she had given $2,000 to an undercover police officer to kill her former boyfriend and his wife in Warrenton. Read more...
